Swiffer, you might want to sit down. Dyson just dropped a wet vac called the Submarine, and it’s gunning for your mop’s job.
It works like Dyson’s stick vacuums but adds a microfiber roller head and two water chambers—one that feeds clean water to the roller and one that collects the dirty stuff. Spills, dry messes, everyday grime: it handles them all and basically makes the old mop obsolete. The catch? It doesn’t fit existing Dyson sticks, so you’ll need the new V15 Detect Submarine. On the upside, that model comes with two dry-vacuum heads, too.
Dyson also rolled out the Gen5detect and Gen5outsize cordless vacuums, both packing the strongest suction the brand has ever made. The outsize holds 150 percent more debris than its sibling, and both run for 70 minutes—plenty of time to vacuum every corner, plus a few you didn’t know existed. There’s a new robotic vacuum and a large air purifier in the lineup, too, but let’s be honest: the Submarine is the one we’re actually excited about.
