The CleanLab Story
Home cleaning, treated like a science
A cleaning lab for everyday homes.
CleanLab · Home Cleaning Lab began as a single shelf of labelled bottles: white vinegar, baking soda, castile soap, a spray bottle, and a notebook. Every weekend, a surface was tested, a ratio was recorded, and a result was filed under room, ingredient, and safety level. The shelf grew into a bench, and the bench grew into CleanLab.
We treat home cleaning like a practical science. Each formula is measured, tested on real household surfaces, and noted with a project number, a room, and a safety level. We do not chase trends. We chase methods that work, that are safe when followed, and that use ingredients you can read.
The lab director
Dr. M. Rivers is the director of CleanLab. The promise of the lab is simple: We test household cleaning the way a lab tests a formula.
